GQS is committed to making its compliance training portal usable by the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we welcome your feedback.

Our commitment

Global Quality Systems, Inc. (“GQS”) is committed to making its compliance training portal at ecommerce.gqs-inc.com accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We treat digital accessibility as a continuous effort and work to improve the experience for all learners.

Conformance status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities. The Portal is currently partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA, meaning some content may not yet fully meet the standard; see “Known limitations” below.

Measures we take

To support accessibility, GQS:

• Provides text alternatives (alt text) for meaningful images;
• Includes closed captions for course video and narration;
• Uses semantic structure and headings to support screen-reader navigation;
• Selects color combinations intended to meet contrast requirements for text;
• Designs interactive elements to be operable with a keyboard where feasible;
• Considers accessibility during course development and site updates.

Compatibility with browsers and assistive technology

The Portal is designed to be compatible with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari) used together with common assistive technologies such as screen readers and screen magnification. The Portal may not perform well with browsers or assistive technologies that are more than two major versions old.

Technical specifications

Accessibility of the Portal relies on the following technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and, for interactive courseware, SCORM packages delivered through our learning management system. Conformance depends on these technologies being available and supported by your browser and any assistive technology you use.

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some limitations may remain:

• Interactive course content authored in third-party e-learning tools (for example, published SCORM modules) may not fully support screen-reader interaction or keyboard-only operation in every activity;
• Some legacy documents, brochures, or downloadable resources may not yet be fully tagged for accessibility;
• Third-party components (such as payment, security verification, and embedded media) are outside our direct control and may not meet the same standard.

We are actively working to identify and address these areas. If you encounter a barrier, please tell us so we can assist you and prioritize a fix.

Feedback

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of the Portal. If you experience a barrier, need content provided in an alternative format, or require assistance completing a course, please contact us. We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within a reasonable timeframe and to provide the requested information or assistance where practicable.

Assessment and review

GQS assesses the accessibility of the Portal through a combination of internal review and evaluation during course development and site updates. We review this statement periodically and update it as our content and services change.

Enforcement

In the United States, accessibility of digital services may be addressed under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and related state laws. If you have raised a concern with us and are not satisfied with our response, you may have additional rights under applicable law.
