Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy governs how you may access and use the GQS compliance training portal. By creating an account, purchasing a course, or otherwise using the Portal, you agree to it.

1. Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) governs your access to and use of the Global Quality Systems, Inc. (“GQS,” “we,” “us”) compliance training portal at ecommerce.gqs-inc.com and the associated learning environment (collectively, the “Portal”). It supplements, and should be read together with, our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• The Portal is intended for professional and organizational use by individuals aged 18 or older.
• Each account is personal to a single named learner. You are responsible for the accuracy of your registration information and for keeping it current.
• You may not create an account on behalf of another person without authorization, impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation.

3. License and permitted use

Subject to your compliance with this Policy and payment of applicable fees, GQS grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access purchased courses and materials for your own training, professional development, and internal compliance purposes.

4. Prohibited use

You agree not to:

• Share, sell, sublicense, transfer, or otherwise provide your account credentials or course access to any other person;
• Reproduce, download (except where expressly offered), distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from course content, SCORM packages, videos, assessments, or downloadable resources;
• Use a single course seat for more than one individual, or rotate one seat among multiple learners;
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with access controls, authentication, digital rights management, licensing limits, or usage tracking;
• Scrape, crawl, harvest, or use automated means to extract content or data from the Portal;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code or course packaging, except to the extent permitted by law;
• Upload or transmit malware, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Portal, other accounts, or connected systems (including the learning management system, payment processing, or email infrastructure);
• Use the Portal to violate any law, regulation, or third-party right, or to harass, defame, or harm others;
• Misrepresent completion of training, falsify assessment results, or tamper with certificates of completion.

5. Course content and intellectual property

All courses, curricula, assessments, graphics, brochures, and related materials are the intellectual property of GQS or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Certificates of completion evidence an individual learner’s completion of a specific course. They may not be altered, presented as proof of another person’s training, or used to imply GQS endorsement or certification beyond the scope stated on the certificate.

6. Regulated and export-controlled content

Certain GQS courses address subjects governed by U.S. regulations, including the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), NIST SP 800-171, the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) framework, and, where applicable, the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Training materials are provided for general education and compliance-awareness purposes and do not constitute legal, regulatory, or certification advice. You are responsible for ensuring that your access to and use of any regulated content complies with applicable export-control and information-security obligations, including any restrictions on access by foreign persons.

7. Account security

You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials, enabling available security features (such as multi-factor authentication), and promptly notifying us of any suspected unauthorized use. GQS is not liable for losses arising from your failure to maintain the confidentiality of your account.

8. Third-party services

The Portal integrates third-party services, including a learning management system, payment processing, and email delivery. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms. GQS is not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party providers.

9. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and take any action we consider appropriate, including issuing a warning, suspending or terminating your account or access, revoking certificates obtained through misuse, removing content, and pursuing legal remedies. Access terminated for a violation of this Policy is not eligible for a refund.

10. Reporting misuse

To report a suspected violation, security vulnerability, or content concern, contact us using the details below. We appreciate responsible disclosure and will make reasonable efforts to acknowledge legitimate reports.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Portal after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
